On the occassion of Swami Vivekananda's 150th Birth Anniversary Celebration, Karnataka Pranta VIJAYA POORNA VIJAYA is going on in different part of Karnataka.

Vivekananda Kendra Bengaluru organised a three days Residential Vijaya Poorna Vijaya Shibir for Bengaluru City from 15 - 18th January 2012.

130th Eye Camp at Kanyakumari

DSC_9208With motto of Thakur Sri Ramkrishna Paramsansa "Siva Bhave Jiva Seva" Vivekananda Kendra working in the rural area of country. As part of Medical Service everymonth Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development program is organizing Eye-camp. This month it was organized at 4th January (2012) at Vivekananda Kendra Avaikoodam, Kanyakumari. The camp was sponsored by Sudarshan Men's Wear, Nagerkovil .

Vivekananda Jayanti & Annual Day VKV KanyakumariVivekananda Kendra & Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya celebrated 149th Birth day of Swami Vivekananda, Annual day of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya & National Youth day. Swami Vivekananda as national monk wanted the younger generation to strive hard to uplift our nation & make our Bharat ‘Jagath Guru’. The whole idea behind the youth festival was to propagate the concept of national integration, spirit of brotherhood & adventure among the youth.

karyakam in Jaipur on 12 jan 2012विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी शाखा जयपुर एवं एस एस जैन सुबोध पी जी महाविद्यालय के द्वारा स्वामी विवेकानन्दजी के जन्म जयन्ती १४९ वी के वर्ष पर्व पर ’’एक विषाल युवा षक्ति जागरण’’ सम्मेलन सुबोध पीजी महाविद्यालय में आयोजित हुआ। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि श्री राजेन्द्र जी भाणावत ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द की प्रासांगिकता को बताते हुए कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द एक ऐसे युवा संन्यासी थे जिन्होंने अपने मोक्ष केkaryakam in Jaipur on 12 jan 2012 लिए नहीं अपितु भारत देश के लिए ध्यान किया लेकिन बड़े दुःख की बात है कि अखबारो ने स्वामी विवेकानन्द के विचारों व फोटो को बहुत कम स्थान दिया। इसी के साथ ही मुख्य वक्ता श्री भरतराम जी कुम्हार ने कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द एक ऐसे देशभक्त थे जिन्होंने विदेश में जाकर भारतीय संस्कृति विरासत व
परम्पराओं को दुनिया के सम्मुख रखा।

Celebration of Vivekananda Jayanati - Jammu

Jammu celebrated Swami Vivekananda JayantiVivekananda Kendra Kanykumari, Jammu Branch celebrated 149th birthday of Swami Vivekananda at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Anand Nagar, Bohri, Jammu on 12th January 2012 from 10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. The function was attended by 63 prominent persons of Jammu who have been inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Several youth were also present including the other participants.
